Notre Shame, For Shame Obama, For Shame Media

Never have I ever heard more obvious double-speak than I have heard during Obama's speech at Notre Dame commencement. Never. Also, never have I heard more shameful an attitude toward life. It is equal only to the Pres of Iran saying there was no such thing as a Jewish holocaust. Pathetic and even more pathetic that so many people have bought into these lies about what pro-life is and the absolute scientific and psychological damage to the mother, not even considering the torture to the child. TORTURE !

Example...

The media as well as President Obama *deliberately* say "stem cell research* to make people believe that Catholics are against stem cell research which is a complete and total lie and anywhere on the internet can you find that out. There is a deliberate effort to eliminate the word "embryonic" by the media, by Obama, and by Father Jenkins in his allowing this lie to be said at Notre Dame.

The facts of the futility of embryonic stem cell cures is also available on the internet easily found. As well, the cures from regular stem cell research not only is in excess of SEVENTY cures but also easily found on the internet.

Shame on Obama for lying and shame on Fr. Jenkins for assisting in this lie. They BOTH know the truth and they are bought and sold. One thing they both have very much in common....lies.

And another lie
...I am anti-abortion, Obama says, but yet now wants us to pay for abortion in other countries including the one child policy in China. Of all the money Obama promises he excludes any type of program that will help mothers of unwanted pregnancies. Obama pulled the funds for the mothers! Hello...are you listening?

If ever there were a forked tongue, Obama and Jenkins have exactly that.

I have to really wonder how educated our educated really are that people believe what was said by Obama at Notre Dame as truth. Our educated at one of the most notable universities have absolutely no clue what double speak is or how to recognize it. Obama has the cattle prod and the young people seem to be ready to to buy into it. Time to take a much closer look at "education."

Case in point. You can show a 3 year old a picture of a pre-born baby at 3 months and that 3 year old child will say, "that's a baby!" I have much more confidence in the intelligence of my 4 year old grandson than I now have in Obama or in Jenkins or in anyone who applauded the lies at Notre Dame.

It's a hard hard decision women have to make, says Obama. And he is really heart felt about what they go through. Really? And that's why he refers to a woman with an unwanted pregnancy as being "punished?" Hello? Are you listening? Punished? A child is a punishment for what? So...kill it ? Kill what we don't want is the answer?

Great...let's use that as a rule for society. Let's kill what we don't want. OH?? You don't think that's ok? Why? Because you can't actually see the person you kill in the womb? Is it any less killing because you cannot see the baby? Ok...the answer is NO and not just "no" but "hell no." Believe it or not, rationalize it to fit your needs, describe your sad situation...it's the killing of a human being.

A pepperoni pizza is a pepperoni pizza no matter how badly you want it to be a NY strip steak. And abortion is murder no matter how badly you wish to dismiss that fact.

It's your body you can do what you want? Really. Let's think about that. There is a test that is given to see if someone in an accident is brain dead. No brain waves? The person is dead. So tell me exactly WHY the pro-aborts put all the money they can into preventing these same tests from being done on the pre-born baby EVEN.....EVEN....at the earliest stages of pregnancy. Ok, you guessed it. Because there ARE brain waves.

Your body? Is there one heart or two? Is there one nervous system or two? Are there only 2 legs and 2 arms and no head because it's YOUR body you want to kill? Ah, no...don't think so. Another lie...the heart beats at THREE weeks. Wanna know the double speak given about that? "It's not a heart beat..it's heart "motion". Hello? Are you listening?

The media...........if you don't hear it, you think it isn't happening? Oh, think again. You think when they say that Catholics object to stem cell research that that is true? You are being lied to 100%. And it is deliberate. So, think again. Catholics DO promote stem cell research because it is NOT the destruction of human life. I challenge you to find the truth of "adult stem cell cures" and the futility of embryonic stem cell research.

Check out the Discovery Channel and any other programs that like to walk us through surgeries. Check the made-for-TV-movies/CSI programs/etc to see every kind of gory detail of blood and guts but do you EVER see an abortion? Why is that? It's the most common surgery in the United States...in fact, the world...but you have never seen it ! Are you listening?

Forget religion? If that bothers you then just check the scientific facts about the unborn. I challenge you to do just that. Not convinced? Go to the website of http://www.priestsforlife.org and look at the pictures of aborted babies.

Look, if you don't want to look, you already know it's murder. If you do look, and you are pro-abort, then I am convinced you won't be after you see it. America won't outlaw abortion until America sees abortion. And that, my dear, is a fact. If you don't want to look because you already know it's murder, then you are desperately trying to rationalize some type of genocide as "ok" as long as it doesn't interrupt your life. Hey...I know a lot of 2 year olds who disrupt life. Should we kill them? No?? Why not?? Just because you can SEE them? Oh. Listen. Up. You can see the unborn.

Look at the pics and you will see the reality of genocide.

It's not YOUR body
being pulled apart limb from limb. It's not YOUR body being burned to death. It's not YOUR body that has the brain sucked out of your head. So, it obviously is NOT your body that you choose to kill. And...do you value your freedom more than you care about murder? Ok then..................do this........

Have the baby and let the baby live !!!!! Let the baby live with an adoptive family who can't have a baby that you so desperately want to kill to be rid of.

SHAME on Obama. SHAME on Jenkins. SHAME on anyone who chooses to abort when adoption is ALWAYS an option.

Wait !! Saving you the trouble of searching for pictures of aborted babies ! I knew you would thank me for this so here is the link: http://www.priestsforlife.org/images/index.aspx#galleries

If you already know abortion is murder, you won't look. If you are convinced that abortion is ok.. I dare you! And then come back after you see the pics and leave me a comment on what you saw. Please do that. I will look forward to your pro-abortion ideas after you look.

NEW PEW POLL
The ‘Blame Social Conservatives Crowd First’ is Wrong: Pro-Life Stand is a Winning Issue
Latest Pew Poll Finds Support for Legal Abortion on Sharp Decline Among Independents, Liberal and Moderate GOPers

Washington, D.C. – In response to today’s release of polling data from the Pew Research Center, Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser offered the following statement:

"The blame social conservatives first crowd rests its premise on sand. No matter what losses conservatives suffer, their mantra is the same: ‘social issues are driving folks away.’ As the polling data released by the Pew Research Center proves, the ‘blame social conservatives’ habit is the very definition of cognitive dissonance. There is a compelling, sharp decline in support for legal abortion over the last eight months. The largest numbers of converts to the pro-life cause have been self-identified independents and liberal to moderate Republicans – the very voters who decided last year’s Presidential election. If Republicans want to improve their electoral performance, standing on the side of Life is one of the best decisions they can make.”

The latest national survey by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press was conducted from March 31-April 21 among 1,521 adults. Highlights include:

· Overall support for legal abortion down 8%. The proportion saying abortion should be legal in all or most cases has declined from 54% last August to 46% this month.

· Support for abortion declined by 24% among moderate and liberal Republicans. The Center reported 67% of liberal and moderate Republicans said abortion should be legal in August 2008. In this month’s survey, that number had fallen to only 43%.

· Support for abortion declined by 11% among independents. The Center reported 55% of independents said abortion should be legal in August 2008. In this month’s survey, that number had fallen to 44%.

The Susan B. Anthony List is a nationwide network of Americans, over 156,000 residing in all 50 states, dedicated to mobilizing, advancing, and representing pro-life women in politics. Its connected Candidate Fund increases the percentage of pro-life women in the political process.

Planned Parenthood Staffer Condemns Women Who Say They Regret Their Abortions

Planned Parenthood Staffer Condemns Women Who Say They Regret Their Abortions

by Steven Ertelt
LifeNews.com Editor

, 2009

Richmond, VA (LifeNews.com) -- In a new editorial piece posted on a pro-abortion activism web site, a Planned Parenthood staffer condemns women who regret their decision to have an abortion. The unnamed staffer for Planned Parenthood Health Systems says she is upset women would share how their abortion adversely affected them with other women.

The Planned Parenthood staffer, writing under the pseudonym “StephatPPHS” at the RH Reality Check web site, says she lives three doors down from the Richmond Medical Center for Women abortion business in Virginia.

The staffer says she was upset when she woke up recently to hear pro-life advocates outside protesting abortion and telling women about better options.

The Planned Parenthood official said she saw a woman holding a sign reading "I regret my abortion" who was standing quietly on one street corner outside the abortion center.

The staffer said she felt “discomfort” at the message because “women [are] so freely permitted or expected or encouraged to express regret” about the abortion they have.

Although she doesn’t trust women to discuss their regret and disappointment following an abortion, the Planned Parenthood staff condemned the woman and her sign because it means she doesn’t trust women to make a decision before an abortion.

The woman’s sign “presupposes that the women who are coming to the clinic to seek abortion care (or even the women driving by who have or will consider abortion) have not considered regret among the ways that they might experience this choice,” she writes.

The Planned Parenthood staffer goes on to compare the woman’s negative abortion decision and her sign to protesting outside a fast-food restaurant.

“If I were to stand outside of McDonalds for a month straight strategically standing between the drive thru and the building entrance bearing a sandwich board … I am fairly certain that I would see a lawsuit coming my way,” she said. “I would also be remiss to think that the patron's of MacDonald's were not education [sic] enough to know that among the many possibilities of feelings that may follow a meal at MacDonald's.”

“Who am I to educate people about how I felt after eating fast food? It's insulting,” the Planned Parenthood staff complains.

The Planned Parenthood staffer says “I am proud to work for an organization that will deny abortion care to a woman if there is any hint that that she has not had the freedom to make her choice without coercions from a partner or parent.”

However, Planned Parenthood has repeatedly opposed laws to make the performance of coerced and forced abortions illegal. The abortion business opposed such pro-woman laws in Michigan and in Missouri.

Senior Harvard Research Scientist for AIDS Prevention Support Pope Benedict XVI Position on Condoms

Cambridge, Mass., Mar 21, 2009 / 10:11 am (CNA).-

Pope Benedict’s recent brief remark against condoms has caused an uproar in the press, but several prominent scientists dedicated to preventing AIDS are defending the Pope, saying he was correct in his analysis. In an interview with CNA, Dr. Edward Green explained that although condoms should work, in theory, they may be “exacerbating the problem” in Africa.

Benedict XVI’s Tuesday comments on condoms were made as part of his explanation of the Church’s two prong approach to fighting AIDS. At one point in his response the Pontiff stressed that AIDS cannot be overcome by advertising slogans and distributing condoms and argued that they “worsen the problem.” The media responded with an avalanche of over 4,000 articles on the subject, calling Benedict a “threat to public health,” and saying that the Catholic Church should “enter the 21st century.”

Senior Harvard Research Scientist for AIDS Prevention, Dr. Edward Green, who is the author of five books, including “Rethinking AIDS Prevention: Learning from Successes in Developing Countries” discussed his support for Pope Benedict XVI’s comments with CNA.

According to Dr. Green, science is finding that the media is actually on the wrong side of the issue. In fact, Green says that not only do condoms not work, but that they may be “exacerbating the problem” in Africa.

“Theoretically, condoms ought to work,” he explained to CNA, “and theoretically, some condom use ought to be better than no condom use, but that’s theoretically.”

Condom proponents often cite the lack of condom education as the main culprit for higher AIDS rates in Africa but Green disagrees.

After spending 25 years promoting condoms for family planning purposes in Africa, he insists that he’s quite familiar with condom promotion. Yet, he claims that “anyone who worked in family planning knew that if you needed to prevent a pregnancy, say the woman will die, you don’t recommend a condom.”

Green recalls that when the AIDS epidemic hit Africa, the “Industry” began using AIDS as a “dual purpose” marketing strategy to get more funding for condom distribution. This, he claims, effectively took “something that was a 2nd or 3rd grade device for avoiding unwanted pregnancies” and turned it into the “best weapon we [had] against AIDS.”

The accepted wisdom in the scientific community, explained Green, is that condoms lower the HIV infection rate, but after numerous studies, researchers have found the opposite to be true. “We just cannot find an association between more condom use and lower HIV reduction rates” in Africa.

Dr. Green found that part of the elusive reason is a phenomenon known as risk compensation or behavioral disinhibition.

“[Risk compensation] is the idea that if somebody is using a certain technology to reduce risk, a phenomenon actually occurs where people are willing to take on greater risk.” The idea can be related to someone that puts on sun block and is willing to stay out in the sun longer because they have added protection. In this case, however, the greater risk is sexual. Because people are willing take on more risk, they may “disproportionally erase” the benefits of condom use, Green said.

Another factor that contributes to ineffective condom use in Africa, is the phenomenon where condoms may be effective on an “individual level,” but not on a “population level.” Green’s research found that “condoms have been effective” in HIV concentrated areas where high risk activities are already being conducted, such as brothels in countries like Thailand.

Claiming to be a liberal himself, Green asserts that promoting Western “liberal ideology” where, “most Africans are conservative when it comes to sexual behavior,” is quite offensive to them. Citing his new book, “Indigenous Theories and Contagious Disease,” Green described Africans as “very religious by global standards” who are offended by “trucks going around where people are dancing to ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll’, tossing out condoms to teenagers and the children of the village.”

Green also noted that there is an ideology called “harm reduction” that is being pushed by many organizations trying to prevent AIDS. The ideology believes that “you can’t change the underlying behavior, that you can’t get people to be faithful, especially Africans,” the HIV specialist explained.

One country, Uganda, recognized these issues and said, “Listen, if you have multiple sex partners, you are going to get AIDS.” What worked in Uganda, a country that has seen a decline by as much as 2/3 in AIDS infections, was that officials realized that even aside from religious and cultural reasons, “no one likes condoms.” Instead of waiting for “American and European advisors to arrive,” Ugandan officials reacted and developed a program that fit their culture; their main message being “stick to one partner or love faithfully.”

However, in 2004, Uganda’s AIDS infection rates began to increase once again, due to an influx of condoms and Western “advice”, Green recalled. Western donors also came to Uganda and said behavioral change doesn’t work and that, “most infections nowadays are among married people.” Green said these claims are “misleading,” pointing out that “married people always have lower HIV infection rates than single or divorced people of the same age group.”

Green’s new book, “AIDS and Ideology,” to be completed in the next few months, will describe the industry in Africa that is “drawing billions of dollars a year promoting condoms, testing, drugs, and treatment of AIDS” and is clearly resistant to the idea that behavioral change is the solution.

Yet the two countries that have the highest infection rate of AIDS in the world, Botswana and Swaziland, have recently launched campaigns to promote fidelity and monogamy, the Harvard researcher said. These countries “have learned the hard way” about the failure of condoms in preventing AIDS, he said, noting that “Botswana has probably had more condom promotion” than any other county on a per capita basis. Green said he had no problem “having condoms as a backup to fidelity-based programs.”

According to Green, the Catholic Church should continue to “do what it is already doing,” avoid “arguing about the diameter of viruses” and cite scientific evidence in connection with scripture and moral theology.

NARAL Speaks The Same OLD Lies

I signed up for NARAL's newsletter just to see what they say. And I found out...they don't say anything. When you read this, you will see that they say pretty much nothing.

1) They say women don't have access to abortion ??? Oh, as if! Who are they trying to fool, 13 year olds who don't know better?

2) They want money.

3) Sexually transmitted disease is running rampant...well, no kidding ! Condoms don't work!

4) Anti-Choice? Whoa! The choice is BEFORE the conception. Again, who are they trying to sell this to?

5) 87% of counties don't have abortion clinics?? What?? They want a clinic in every county?? We don't even have enough snow plows for every county! Puhleeese!

6) Asks if I have ever known women who have had abortions..oh yes, yes I have. And EACH one of them needed serious counseling to even come close to forgiving themselves. I have seen "I'm so in love with him" ladies hate the sight of him after the abortion. I have seen grandparents grieve that they cannot stop their daughter from falling for the lies. Oh yes, I have known people who had abortions, the guys who couldn't stop it, and the grandparents who could not stop the death of the child.

7) They are losing ! Ladies and gentlemen, Planned Parenthood is losing. This is the best they can do for *reasons*?

Read below..and don't you know my stomach turns every time I receive this bunk from them but as they say..."know thy enemy."

How Does Your State Measure Up?

Dear Kathie,

If you have ever known a woman who has faced an unintended pregnancy, you know the fundamental importance of her right to make this difficult, personal decision without pressure or stigma.

Sadly, that may not be an option in many states across the country -- possibly even in yours.

Please donate to NARAL Pro-Choice America today.

On the national level we must undo the damage of Bush’s legacy by urging President Obama to reverse the last minute Federal Refusal Rule as well as increase our investment in family planning here at home through the Title X program.

It is truly frightening that more than 36 years after the Supreme Court decided Roe v. Wade, many women face more obstacles in exercising their right to choose than their mothers did a generation ago. Please support NARAL Pro-Choice America today and help us continue our work protecting choice for another 40 years.

We are at a pivotal moment in American history after pro-choice electoral successes across the country. But with these successes comes profound responsibility.

We cannot achieve our goals without your support. Please donate today.

Here's what we're up against:

* 87 percent of U.S. counties have no abortion provider.
* One in four teenage girls in America today has a sexually transmitted infection.
* Fifteen states have near-total criminal bans on abortion that directly challenge the protections guaranteed under Roe v. Wade.
* Since 1995, states have enacted more than 500 anti-choice measures, including 28 in 2008 alone.

This is why I urge you to contribute to NARAL Pro-Choice America today.

We need your help to protect and defend a woman’s right to choose, and ensure that NARAL Pro-Choice America is around for another 40 years; because American women and their families depend on us to fight for them!

Women are counting on us, and we are counting on you. Please donate today.

My Best,

Nancy Keenan
