House Resolution Opposing FOCA Passed in the House
On Thursday, February 12, 2009, HCS/HR 294 & 212, handled by Rep. Bob Dixon (R-Springfield,) was passed in the House. The resolution calls on Congress to reject the passage of the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA). The resolution was debated over a two day period on the House floor before it passed by a vote of 116-40 with two representatives voting present and five representatives absent. The resolution directs the Chief Clerk of the Missouri House of Representatives to send a copy of the resolution to all members of the Missouri Congressional delegation.

We need more people opposing FOCA. We can't let FOCA be passed, at least some states are doing things to prevent it from being passed.
We sure do. And we need to watch closely the evil twin, Prevention First Act, as well as the possibility "they" will parcel bits of FOCA attaching to other bills. Sneaky is the name of their game.
